Australian IronBark Chunks

2KG of various sized wood chunks from Australian Iron Bark trees source from North Eastern Australia.

Ideal for Beef and Game. Has defined smoky wood notes and spice undertones but can become heavy flavoured if too much woodsmoke is used. Somewhat similar to Mesquite but with its own uniquness.

This wood is much more denser hardwood compared to fruitwood trees, so you only need one or two chunks sitting on charcoal at low and slow cooking temps.

Sourced locally and bagged by us. Perfect for kettle, small offsets, water smokers and kamado/Big Green Egg ceramic BBQs.
