Beginners class but those wanting to enjoy nibbling on a variety of barbecued meats also welcome.
This class is for the struggling barbecurer looking for help on...
- Heat management, smoke and control using charcoal in a basic wood smoker
- Simple and quick ways to cook low and slow meats focused on Beef and Pork
- Taste and savour how the smoke flavour comes through on different meats
On the day, you get to see an Offset Smoker, Big Green Egg and Pellet Grill and Water Smoker in action, with basic explanation on how each one works as well as sampling food cooked overnight from each one.
The whole idea is to see, smell and taste so you know when you try it yourself, you know how it should be.
Bonus class added on for smiple rotisserie barbecue using Carson Rodizio as well as a Souvla charcoal BBQ.
Explanation on what chcarcol to use, how to light charcoal and how to prepare meats to be skewered and roasted over charcoal. Great class for those that don't have time to do long overnight cooks but still want to try something different.
Class will be held at Leichhardt Wanders Club House compound off Canal Rd at Blackmore Oval in Leichhard starting a 12.30pm. (Venue location may change without notice)
Class will be between 90mins to 150mins depending on how much time we spend on certain topics and questions asked.
