The Japanese have been onto it for a long time in what is called "Umami", a rich savoury flavour used to help make your meal sing! Not to be confused with MSG.

If you're baking Kale chips, sprinkle with this for a real buzz. Works in soups, seafood, rice dishes and Asian influenced meals. Try on scrambled eggs!
How do I use the flavoured salt?
Lightly sprinkle over your meal (unless using as part of an ingredient for sauces etc). Generally, use them in place of plain salt. Have fun with it though and feel free to use in brines, marinades or add to sauce! Play with your food!
