We will confirm receipt of your order and payment by email. All items displayed in the shop are in stock but may sell out before your order is received. If the item you have ordered is sold out and no longer in production, we will refund your payment immediately. If it is sold out but still in production we will advise you when it will be in stock and offer to place the item on back-order.
Local Pickup from Store in Leichhardt for selected postcodes in SYDNEY
Those in the Sydney metropolitan area have the option to order online and pick up from our shop location at 425 Parramatta Rd Leichhardt during business hours. Selected local postcodes close to 2040, will see an option appear in the checkout before payment. If left selected (indicated via a tick), then no delivery charge is added to the final payment as the customer is expected to come into store to collect. Let us know when you intend to come in, so we can get your order ready for you or a representative picks up the order.
Note - if you have mistakenly left selected the option to "Pick up from Leichhardt SYD" and you have paid for the items, then there is a delivery cost owing if you wish it sent. You can advise us and we will send you a PayPal request for the shipping cost owing.
Authorised to Leave at Front Door option on select postcodes
Sydney Metro customers may see an extra shipping choice stating Authorised to Leave at Front Door. These are special rates for customers in the Sydney Metropolitain area who want thier charcoal delivery to be left at their door step. Selecting this option means you agree for the courier to leave your order at the door or any special instuction you advise us at the time of ordering. NOTE that bulky and large volume orders do require some assistance so we will contact you to make sure some one is at the delivery point to help unload. Please notify us if there is a particular day or time if you wish your delivery to come if you prefer to assist.
We aim to ship your order within 2 to 3 working days. We charge flat rates for shipping on small items and use Australia Post to send. At our discretion, we will use either Australia Post or Couriers for large and bulky items.
We will deliver your order to the address you specify and will rely on the register of the postal or delivery agent we use as conclusive evidence of delivery. You must take responsibility for providing an address that will enable delivery to be made within normal business hours. We accept no liability for loss or damage after delivery has been made.
Australia Post can not take over 20KG in weight and parcels longer than a 1 metre. Larger orders will need to be sent via road courier.
For large items or heavy orders please confirm someone will be at the delivery address to help unload the delivery with the courier. Depending on the size and prior arrangements you may also wish for the delivery to be left at the door or other instructions in case no one is home to accept.
Note that large heavy parcels or bulky items will be delivered to the ground street level address. There is no assistance included in taking deliveries up flights of stairs or heavy lifting as well as no inclusion of installation or assembly.
Exchange & returns
Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired or replaced within a reasonable time. You may also be asked on certain products to contact directly the manufacturer's local representative service centre under their warranty conditions and for their assessment. If the product is determined to have a major fault and cannot be repaired, not of merchantable quality, not fit for purpose or not matching a description, there will be an offer of replacement, exchange or refund.
**Nothing in our policies should be interpreted as affecting any statutory rights regarding refunds and returns (for example, faulty or damaged products). All other terms and conditions above will apply to the maximum extent permitted by law. We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time without further notice.**
If you change your mind and it is within 14 days of purchase, BBQAroma will give you an exchange or store credit, providing that the product is:
1. In NEW, unused and resell-able condition, unopened in its original packaging (including manuals and accessories); and
2. Not a sale, Auction or clearance item in our store.
NOTE: Any product that has been opened and/or used cannot be returned and shipping/handling charges are not part of the total value nor refundable if you have changed your mind.
Our price is inclusive of GST for sales within Australia but exclusive of all other domestic or foreign taxes outside the country. You are responsible for paying any customs or excise duties, sales taxes or fees, if any, imposed by any taxing authority outside of Australia.
Our maximum liability to you is limited to the price of the product ordered and we do not accept any liability whatsoever for any consequential loss related to the sale of our products. We will meet our own costs for sending an exchanged item to you if we have made an error or we accept that the item is faulty but you must deliver any returned item to us at your cost and risk.
The governing law of each contract of sale and any other legal obligation between us is the state and federal laws of the place in which our business is located being the state of New South Wales, Australia.
